Running through the wildflower fields, jumping into the hot tub together, relaxing by the fire and eating tacos till the stars came out… can all engagement shoots be this dreamy? Back in April I got to go back to one of my favorite places, Palm Springs. It holds such a special place in my heart. Me and my husband got to travel there for our one year anniversary, so when I had the opportunity to go back and take engagement photos of Kamelia + Faraz I was so beyond excited!

It was the perfect time of year in the desert when everything was blooming so we started photos in the gorgeous wildflower field right by the cutest Airbnb we rented out. They looked so adorable while frolicking around on the hillside, giving each other kisses and tons of piggy back rides. I love that they were so spontaneous because afterwards they decided to take a dip in the hot tub + jump into the outdoor stone shower as the sun set behind the hills. Who said you can’t get a lil steamy during your engagement sesh? We ended the night with hanging out by the fire, eating some BOMB tacos and talking till the stars came out. My heart was so full + happy, we started as strangers and ended as such good friends!

If you’re planning to do an engagement shoot make it your own, do whatever speaks to you both, there are no rules! If you love traveling, do your engagement shoot at a dope Airbnb somewhere special to you both. If you both love the outdoors, hike up to a beautiful viewpoint and take some photos with an epic backdrop. If you guys are obsessed with eating pizza or tacos together, bring that to your engagement shoot and make it SPECIAL!!
