Eloping in the courtyard of a private Airbnb in the mountains of Joshua Tree, helping each other get ready, celebrating with champagne, and cake smashing under the stars to top off the most magical evening. Yup, Natasha + Jesse’s day was that and so much more.

Everything from the desert inspired florals to the handwritten vows, it came together perfectly. Their elopement was held at an Airbnb nestled in the valley, surrounded by a 360 view of Joshua Tree National Park, Mount Gorgonio and Mount San Jacinto. It was the perfect place to simply enjoy the magic of the high desert, take in the nature views, and elope in one of the most beautiful places on earth. (I’m not even over-exaggerating) The Airbnb was originally built as horse stables, but was eventually transformed into a hidden retreat in the hills. With authentic rustic + boho elements, it added such a unique flare to their special day.

To start off the day Natasha + Jesse decided to have their first look while getting ready, it was untraditional but soooo sweet (I’d totally recommend it to any couples eloping or wanting to share those memories together instead of separately!) After sharing a few emotional moments together, he helped her into her stunning off the shoulder dress and helped with her shoes. They just radiated pure joy throughout the whole entire day + their laughter was so contagious. I couldn’t stop smiling and laughing along with them.

Their ceremony was held in the beautiful courtyard of the Airbnb, surrounded by cactuses, gorgeous desert inspired florals, and they said their vows from sweet custom made ‘His & Her’ booklets.

“I take you as you are, loving who you are now and who you are yet to become. I promise to listen to you and learn from you, to support you and accept your support. I will love you and have faith in your love for me, through all our years and all that life may bring us.”

Those are just a few things Natasha + Jesse shared in their vows to each other. It was all so beautiful and emotional, I was seriously teary eyed and smiling from ear-to-ear. Every time I’m just so overwhelmed with gratitude that I get to witness such joyful + monumental moments in people’s lives. AND OF COURSE, we had to end the day with some CELEBRATION! At dusk, they popped some champagne amongst the Joshua Trees, chugged the whole dang thing and smashed some delicious cake in each other’s faces under the starry desert sky. I think it’s fair to say that Natasha + Jesse eloped in the most rad way in one of the most magical places ever!
